Abstract

Aproximadamente el 10% de la población mundial presenta alguna
discapacidad1; cifra que aumenta por crecimiento de población, avances en
medicina y el envejecimiento2. Teniendo en cuenta que el desempeño ocupacional
es concebido como la capacidad para interactuar satisfactoriamente con el
entorno3 4 y que en esta población se encuentra alterado; es necesario tener
herramientas que permitan intervención interdisciplinaria.
