STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT MODEL BY PROCESSES FOR HYDRAULIC VYCO OF THE POPULAR AND SOLIDARITY ECONOMY

Abstract

Entrepreneurship occupies a competitive place in economies, especially in developing countries, to
which they are constantly subjected to trial periods for the quality of products and customer service.
For this reason, it has been considered to study a particular case of the Machala canton, proposing
as an objective to determine a strategic management model by processes through the SWOT study
for Hydraulic VYCO of the Popular and Solidarity Economy. For this, the analytical-explanatory
method was applied, the survey research instrument directed at the 20 collaborators of the study
undertaking was used. The results determined shortcomings in the organizational structure, in the
distribution of work functions, making it necessary to apply a strategic plan with qualified suppliers to
meet the needs of customers in the face of existing competition. The conclusions express that a
process-based management is useful for small businesses, especially in the Popular and Solidarity
Economy with planning of strategic, support and operational processes and continuous improvement.
