Abstract

This article is a study carried out with professionals from the (FUNASE) - Socioeducative Attention Foundation, about the public policies for intramural drug addiction aimed at the socio-educated ones in fulfillment of socio-educational measure of hospitalization in the Brazilian northeast, State of Pernambuco. It aims to know, analyze and understand their challenges and obstacles, and, if possible, propose actions aimed at the public policies of care for the adolescent and young author of an infraction for the treatment of drug addiction. In the methodology, the research seeks to find out about the treatment process for intramural drug addiction according to professionals and in this way can be characterized as documentary, field and bibliographic research. The research procedure included interviews suggested by a script, carried out with the professionals and focus groups of the FUNASE network of units in Pernambuco, a fact that made it possible to study the relationship between the use of psychoactive substances and the practice of an infraction.
