Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published nor is it under consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
  • Where available, DOI or URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced and uses a 12-point font size.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Special N°: Dialogues on human frailties in contemporary times

Editorial Policy — Special Issue Dialogues on Human Fragilities in Contemporary Times Vol. 13, Special Issue, Jul–Sep 2026

Organization and scope

This special issue is organized by Marta Luciane Fischer and Caroline Filla Rosaneli (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Paraná, Brazil), in collaboration with Revista Inclusiones. The guest editors are responsible for the thematic conception of the dossier, the dissemination of the call for papers, and the initial suitability assessment of received manuscripts. The final editorial decision is shared between the guest editors and the Editor of Revista Inclusiones, with the journal's editorial criteria and policies prevailing in all cases.

Editorial process

Manuscripts submitted to this special issue follow the standard editorial process of Revista Inclusiones:

  1. Suitability assessment (conducted by the guest editors in collaboration with the editorial coordination)
  2. Originality verification via Similarity Check powered by iThenticate (Crossref)
  3. Payment of the Article Processing Charge — APC (USD 80)
  4. Double-blind peer review by external specialists
  5. Final editorial decision and, if approved, editing and publication

Publication

This issue adopts a continuous publication model. Accepted articles are published individually online as they complete the editorial process, without waiting for the full volume to close.

Submission guidelines

All manuscripts must comply with the Publication Guidelines of Revista Inclusiones, including: length between 6,000 and 18,000 words; Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition citation system (notes and bibliography); analytical abstract of up to 150 words; and between 3 and 5 keywords. Articles in Portuguese, Spanish, and English are accepted.

Conflict of interest

Manuscripts institutionally affiliated with the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Paraná are limited to approximately 40% of the total articles published in the volume, in accordance with the journal's institutional balance policy.
