DOES JESUS WANT TO FUND CHRISTIANITY?
Keywords:
Religion, Christianity, History, BeliefAbstract
In contemporary academic research, there is no one who doubts the historical existence of Jesus of Nazareth. However, one of the mean question in history and anthropology of religion is: Did Jesus want to found Christianity? In this article I propose an analysis of the social-religious context, considering theological, liturgical and politic elements, to understand the process of forming of Christianity and the origin of the idea of Jesus like its founder. By the analysis of sources we have, the objective of this article is to prove that it´s not possible to demonstrate the intention of Jesus to found a new religion. As well I suppose that its role as the founder of Christianity is a result of a posteriori historical and cultural process.
