The place, a set of huts located in front of the beach of Marbella, during the government of Salvador Allende, was conditioned as a popular spa, for workers mostly textile workers and their families, administered by the Central Única de Trabajadores (CUT) . After the coup d'etat, the place was appropriated by the army and conditioned to enroll and to prepare the first agents of the DINA. This place was demolished by the army in the year 2013 being its bases, and was declared National Monument mention memory site in the year 2014.
