THE RETURN OF GODS: ART AFTER THE END OF ART
Abstract
In this seminar the sculpture production of the Argentinean artist Ricardo Donati is analyzed during the period of
argument about the end of art. Too many critics have assumed the death of art as a given in its classic sense.
These experts have analyzed the metamorphosis that this one symbolized; for example from representations as
Andy Warhol’s. In this document, Hegel and Heidegger’s considerations are recovered in order to consider a
contemporary sculptor, who brought back Greek classic figures, Olympus Gods and also the eternal literary
goddesses.
