CHILE AND THE MODERNIZATION OF LATIN AMERICAN SOCIAL SCIENCES
Abstract
This article aims to evaluate the role of Chile in the modernization of Latin American social sciences. To
accomplish that, several processes, actors and emergency conditions involved in it are analyzed. The
conclusions point to emphasize the central role of the country in the studied process.
