TEACHER TRAINING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EJA: PERSPECTIVES AND REALITIES

This article reports experiences with initial and continuing teacher training, its perspectives and realities in the learning process in Youth and Adult Education offered by the Municipal Education Department, in a small municipal public school in the interior of Pernambuco. In the face of the experiences, investigative activities were carried out through interviews and questionings, in order to analyze what was actually being used both for the students and for the teachers, which evidenced in the decision making, with needs to plan, develop and to introduce new pedagogical practices that provide effective participation of teachers, explaining the realities, through the involvement in the discussions, trajectories and hypothesis surveys, thus awakening the interest in approaching strategies of contextualized and directed improvements to reality in this modality of teaching during the academic year 2017/2018, involving the whole school team in a reflexive process about the formation and teaching profession
