CONTEXT AND APPLICATIONS OF SOCIAL PLANNING IN BOLIVIA

Abstract

Planning in Bolivia has played an important role based on development plans and these in turn became the main threads of public management for each government administration, along with social planning. The problems identified served to guide the public policies of the country. The structural problems encountered at the beginning of the republican period are the same at the end of the neoliberal period. The achievements achieved claim the planning of short, medium and long term in public management, the results of the social component ceased to be adjustment variables in the development plans becoming a substantial part of the technical and theoretical design in accordance with the postulates.
